Training
Every student has their own learning ‘style’. Some like to take copious notes, some like to just watch & listen, others learn by ‘doing’, and still others just want to read a detailed set of instructions.
The difficult part is there is a little bit of each kind in each of us. Effective training should use a variety of media and approaches so there is something in it for everybody.

Waterblasting
Back thrust from a waterblast shotgun can sometimes be more than a person can comfortably handle for an entire shift. If that is the case, drop down to a smaller tip. Back thrust reacts directly to flow, but only to the square root of the pressure. The added bonus is the person can still blast at an effective pressure and contribute to the productivity of the shift.
